Ouch for sure! 1275. is about 100. more than I paid for my first exotic CDC approx 10 years ago. Crazy

Deny on THAT thank goodness. They are now $1275. I managed to get a GF her first CDC today....I love my SA :cloud9:
Probably be $1500 in 2015 though - more than likely!!

You Always pay the price on delivery. If there is an increase then, then that is the price you pay regardless of item(s). Maybe it is different in the US? In Europé we never have to pre-pay for anything, jewlery or bags or what ever, at least I have never had to do that (with Hermes).

Well, the poster with the order problem apparently pre-paid, so I choose to believe them. And in the US if you order a special size of jewelry you pre-pay, at least in NY and BH.

I have never SO'd jewelry (I am in the US) so do not know how that works but for anything I have SO'd from Hermes (bags, GM, porcelain, shoes), I have always paid the current retail price irrespective of the price at the time of placing the order. That is generally how it works- you pay the price at time of delivery.


Since most Hermes SO's are 100% COD (apparently not jewelry), you pay market.

I have special ordered larger sizes in jewelry - added length to necklaces...did not pre-pay but it was s 6 month wait. Both necklaces had 3 inches added to length, The galop had to pay $100 extra (but I was told at time of ordering) but the other necklace was same price despite my adding on 3 inches.

I pre-paid for my silver CDC and last week when I got the gold CDC ring, the SA told me I could order a 48 but pay now and avoid the price increase. I ended up taking a 49 but am certain they would have honored this. That said these were both US and in Dubai I have never prepaid for anything at H.
Inconsistent? Shocking!:back2topic:
