I live in Canada and usually picks up Hermes items whenever I'm visiting the US (more selection). Our Canadian money has been dropping so the price increase will be even "higher" for me. 
price has gone up in paris.. unfortunately.. managed to score a kelly32 on the 2nd of january.. and its 6200euros! my cousin bought a kelly32 from the FSH store last year for 5800euros. so it has increased by 400euros for a kelly32 this year.. anyone knows the price increase for birkin 30 & 35? many TIA
gosh, I picked up my PO Kelly32 in the summer of 2010 for 4960euros in Vienna... have to hurry up finding a blue Birkin lol
Hermes Bag Prices Will Increase in January 2014
Hermes is reported to have a price increase this coming January. An increase between 6-15% on Hermes products is to be expected and will take effect on January 13, 2014 in the US. Prices on the leather items will have the most increase.
Prices of silks and calf leather which is the main component of an Hermes handbag is one of the basis of the said increase. According to the brands Chief Executive elect Axel Dumas, You can indeed expect price rises, which as always we want to be moderate. The last increase was also seen early last year (2013). Demand for Hermes products is still growing and has not slow down despite the yearly increase on its luxury items.

Picked a belt kit up for the DH 2/1 in Barcelona at the El Cortes Ingles store- they confirmed the price increase but the SA said 4-6%. Still cheaper than SF- with VAT discount 500

Just travelled back from Taiwan - - - everything seems more expensive than in Canada.
Got a scarf ring just for a souvenir, it was 7,700NTD, when we were checking out, the SA told me the price tag was not updated but the the price increased to 8,100 NTD since 1 Jan, that was about 5%...

wow, thankfully I have no specific wishes, or rather what I wanted I was willing to pay a reseller's premium for... but this is the only time this happened so I don't mind.
but I feel so sorry for my mother, her K (7 years old, used max a handful of times) was stolen this holiday when their house was broken into, and I am not sure she can easily replace it or is even willing to play the H game (we were lucky and bought the bag right out of the store without being waitlisted)
