I just popped in to my local store this morning while running pre-blizzard errands. The SAs in that store at guessing the increase will be around 9%. Also, they have been told that Jan. 16 is the date for the US increase.
Thanks, if the snow has melted enough by next Monday, I'll wander up to Madison. It should be a slow day in the store and I can see what remains in the GM's.
The store was fully stocked when I went in there the Friday (or Saturday) before Christmas. But I suspect a lot of inventory was sold. GM's seemed to be a popular item with the male buyers.
Thanks for the info. I'll definitely get there before then. If not a GM, then a 90cm. I saw the Fleurs et Papillions on H.com in a lovely green colorway and I want to see it in person I still love the 90cm size.
That date is different from what my SA emailed me earlier this week. She said the 13th and approximately 6% price increase on all H items.

I would bet on the 13th, my SA and I have had a good relationship for years and she is rarely wrong. Not to say that your SA is incorrect, maybe they will implement new pricing at your local H on the 16th? All I know is my H store is raising prices starting the 13th and it looks like at least by 6%. BTW, the UK seems to be hit rather hard.

I've heard the same thing, prices will begin to increase in the US on the 13th.
It will be a roll out- not every department will be increased on the same day, but I expect that everything will have been increased by the end of the month.
Price increases are never fun, but Hermes has been more modest with their increases than Chanel and LV. I have been shocked at the increases at Chanel over the past several years, classic flaps doubled in price in a five year period. Let's hope that Hermes maintains their mindset of a modest increase.
