Hi Everyone! This price list was posted by another member a while back in a before and after thread. I've also posted it in several threads, but I know that not everyone has seen it (it keeps getting hidden within other threads). Also, the same questions keep coming up. I want to post the basics in this first post so people can find it and not need to ask the same questions.

How to drop off your item:
-When you drop of your item just drop off the item itself, not the dustbag, cards or box.
-Tell them what you want done to the item or see if they have any suggestions.
-Be sure to keep your repair ticket receipt to present at pick up.
-Repair takes 2-3 months.
-Payment is due at pick up.

Other notes:
-If you are getting a lining replaced you will lose your hologram.
-If your item is suspected to be counterfeit, they will not take it in for service.

More notes:
-Repair is free if you have a problem within the first year of purchasing the bag at a Chanel boutique.
-If you have a bag repaired and the same problem happens within a year of the repair, the boutique will typically send it for repair again without charging you to fix the same problem.

Thanks for posting! This is so much more convenient than to look through the thread over and over again to find pieces of information.

This is especially good for me to keep since I'm about to get a white lamb flap... yikes!!! I wonder if they will be able to fix yellowing of the lambskin..maybe 2-3 years down the road.. hmm.... :thinkin:

Hello,
I bought Chanel flap classic bag , I do know it is authentic since i bought it in the store but on sale. Just notice that numbers(matching store tag) written on lining inside pocket
almost under zipper but you still see them. it is look like it is ink or something like this
Did anybody have the same experience ? How i can take it off?

This is for the Chanel boutique. I'm not sure about the process for department stores. Personally, if the item is not under warrenty with a department store, I would prefer to send it through the Chanel boutique repair service. Their repair vendors have the original Chanel parts and specs for different bags. I've sent several things for repair and have always been very pleased with the results. I've never sent anything through a department store, but I know others here have.

This may be color transfer from the tag to the leather if the tag was left in the pocket? You may be able to use leather cleaner to remove it, but I would take it back to the store and have them look at it to see what they recommend.

Just wanted to add that IF you buy outside of your country then keep the receipt, should you need to repair/service it within the year. My SA told me that Canadian Chanel boutiques do not have access to your international purchase history.
