My limit is $400. I just can't imagine spending more than that on a purse (any purse). But, that is just my personal limit. Definitely not knocking anyone who would spend more than that. Until I bought my first coach, I never spent more than $50 on a purse. LOL!
The value of Coach bags is all over the place because of factory and ebay with that being said I refuse to pay over $400 for a bag.
The most I've ever paid for a bag was a little more than $500 (and I still have some regret over it). I'm more comfortable paying <$350.
Since you can find so many wonderful, quality leather bags in that price range I don't really see the value in paying more.

I am so spoiled with dept store discounts, FOS and the outlet....$300 is pretty much my limit but I prefer closer to $200I have purchased 3 great bags that were retailed at $348-398 for about $120/each. Love those deals!

Max 600 but with wallet included for just the bag its way too much! I am a matchy matchy girl and neeeeed to match my purse and wallet 
and shoes, at least the same color. I Try to buy it with credit card that does percentage back if the purse is full price bcuz it just came out or something, if not I just buy it cash. It depends

For Coach my limit is around $350. I always try to score deals at the outlet and I mostly succeed at staying at limit. For LV, however, my limit is ever growing. I don't want to say how high I'm willing to go for a premier bag. I might scare myself if I really see the numbers. Lol.
$310 is my max for Coach, and that was for an Ultraviolet Candace. No regrets on that one! But I wouldn't do it again. I like to stay between $150 and $250.

My preference is to buy the bags that are 300 and less, with a PCE or department store discount. I have only gone over that twice, one I regret, and one not. I bought the mini borough with a discount, and have ended up giving it to a family member after not being able to sell it. I wish I hadn't bought it...beautiful bag but super annoying to use with how tight it is and all of the tight compartments.
