I don’t think she was even born in 2013 [emoji23] Joke aside, it always annoy me when people state something wrong rather than admit they don’t know the answer. Especially those actually supposedly “in the know”.
Maybe it will really exceptionally happen later in 2019 and she didn’t remember what happen previously. Only one way to find out: wait and see.
I think I’ll be waiting until I get home and check my local store. I get get 2 items last year before the “official” release date. If they don’t have what I want, I’ll bite the bullet and buy online. I’m there for nearly 3 weeks so plenty of time to return if needed.
Lostinlondon, I take on board what you are saying about conversion rates and Visa charges but it will still be far cheaper buying now from the French site than waiting until after the increase (I used PayPal's conversion rate as it is slightly better I think). I have a French bank account as well as my UK one but for some reason I can never shop online with my card so am just sucking up the currency costs to save in the long run on the scarves I particularly want from SS2019. My "local" French store (when I am there) is Bordeaux and they tend to get new season stock quite late so I daren't wait! I would far rather give my money to my (slightly) more accessible store in the UK than buy online from France but as they won't get new stock in either until well into the New Year I don't really have many options. Anyway, 10 pc is a little better than 12.5 but I suspect that my purchases will be fewer from here on in. I probably need to slow down anyway.....there are only so many scarves a neck can wear! I’ll also definitely be more selective in my choices if the increase is as steep as announced. Somehow I feel like a cow being milked. I totally agree with you on having to slow down but I’m like a child in a sweet shop when I step into H. I do love their scarves way too much!!! To make matters even worse, this current season and the coming one, I’m more drawn to much pricier CSGM than 90s [emoji33]

Dying laughing-- this is a great way to describe the feeling many of us have about this latest hike!

In Jan 2018, the price increase was roughly 10% on most items for UK, so if we are experiencing yet another 10% price increase for the UK, I blame brexit for the weak pounds!!

I will refuse to shop in UK, despite I have very good relationship with my store and my SA but at the end of the day it is my bank and wallet which I must look out for!... So I will just do all my H shopping in Paris which I have started already this year, Paris is only a Eurostar ride away from London.

Most items (Bags, SLGs, scarfs, Shoes, Home) are already more expensive in £ when compared to €

That is exactly what it feels like. [emoji38][emoji38]

Surely Paris and europe will also have price increases. They can't have such a discrepancy between UK and Europe

They do have a disparity, the rise was never as steep in general on the European side. e.g. last year Europe/Paris price rise was only around 3 %
Unless they will impose a 10% rise in euro price, which I highly doubt and from memory that has never happened, UK Hermes prices have always been slightly higher then Euro prices, but the disparity is becoming more and more noticeable due to weak £ currency and the steeper price increase on the UK side.

Same here. I'm lucky that I do not seek to ''build history'' in one particular country/shop. I can be selective and choose where it is cheaper (or should I say, less expensive). As long as H continues to allow deliveries to a different country than the one whose web site was used to make the purchase, I am fine.

Unfortunately, that will end post-Brexit.....

Let’s hope it stays that way. I’ll be back buying online from Europe now, although I much prefer shopping in store.
