A piece of fine jewelry my store ordered in for me this week - they didn’t have my size in stock, arrived today at almost 1K higher in price than when they ordered it a few days ago. I’m a bit miffed - no advance warning from the store that it would increase in price - I think I’m going to pass-
This will always irritate me
I guess it’s money saved :sad:

This happened to me last year. Not fun. I hope H isn’t following suit with Chanel-like increases every year.

IMO the gracious move would be to honor the original price in these situations. It’s surprising that Paris is so unaccommodating in this regard.

Super not happy about my SOs not coming in before the increase, but, still appreciating the opportunity (looking on the bright side here....). I guess I'm glad I bought the only really serious piece of jewelry I wanted last year and that since XS bracelets are discontinued I'm unlikely to buy more 🤷‍♂️

Do we trust the prices posted from that other blog? 1) I know it's verboten here to mention "the bop", for good reason, plus goodness knows she is often very wrong on Hermès 2) that was a lot of pricing for shopping day #1 of the New Year. I saw all the prices were added to our main 2024 Price List.
Looking forward to seeing tPFers' actual purchases 🙏

I have an appointment with my SA (Germany) on Wednesday, I will collect my (fortunately :)) already paid for FJ, wii try on Bouncing sneakers and ask about a few prices, gonna share then afterwards. ::flowers:

The prices of non-website bags came from the bags in the display cases in Paris/Europe stores; prices for website bags came from the website listings.

If you have a good relationship with your SA you can ask if you can be accommodated . She likely
will have to ask the SM, but if you love the piece, asking is always worth a shot & you won't be the
first to ask the question either.

Shoes prices are being updated online right now for US, a couple were showing old prices on the listing pages but will have new prices when you click to the item page. A couple data points:

Orans: 700 -> 760
Paris loafers: 1100 -> 1225
Bouncing sneakers: 920 -> 990
Neo ankle boots: 1600 -> 1800
Chypre sandals: 780 -> 910
