wiiiii :smile1: we are scarf twins on the cavalcadour noir anthracite. i got the maxi pointu in red and orange colorway hehe
so far havent heard fr my SA if the colors i wanted are available. hope to post them soon hehe. i dont knw how to upload pictures here hehe :p

I think it's a gorgeous scarf and LOVE the colorway - that's why I bought it!!

When given the selections, the black colorways just always appeal to me the most. I have many scarves with black backgrounds. I'd keep it!!

I can't wait to see your beauties, Churva! I learned how to post pics by reading a thread on this forum. It is really pretty easy to do; it just takes a little practice. So glad to be twins with your on the cavalcadour. I call this my "serious" scarf as the rest in my collection are super bright and colorful.
Your orange and red pointu sounds beautiful. I love this size of the silk jersey because it is so easy to wear. I am thinking about getting another one in a different design. The Sangles maxi pointu is really gorgeous. Sooooo many choices!:D

your ivresse de l'infini in purple is fantastic. thanks for posting the photos on the scarf of the day thread. Would LOVE to see posts of your rouge au fil du carre--I'm debating that colorway and a couple of others.

^Fyi, I noticed that Groenland has finally shown up on parismonami: http://www.parismonami.com/en/catalog/collection/soie/carres-90/xx-xxx-xx/groenland-3/

This isn't a design for me, but I find it interesting that Hermes decided to reissue it in soft, fairly traditional colorways, compared to all of the bold/bright/unusual/unwearable(?) colorations of many of the other AW2011 scarves.

Ladybaga, it gladdens the heart to see your radiant smile! You seem to have had lots of fun selecting this season's scarves. The combination of purple and emerald are my fave combination of the L'IdeL'I, love the Au Fil du Carre in red with your amazing flame coloured sweater but the ExLenK makes my heart beat the fastest - I didn't see this colour way in my October visit to the London H shops, but it is this one that creeps into my dreams (remember?!). That bewitching combination of black, teal and grey make me think I could get away with its accents of gold and peach, which would make any other scarf a No for me. Sigh!

Is this the completion of your A\W11 collection?

My local store had suggested this for me, and it still may find its way home with me. I ended up with some other things but seeing this makes me remember how dymanic this CW was. You loving it? Can imagine it really pumping up a black suit.

Hi TT. Though I wasn't especially fond of this season's shawl offerings, this version of MaJ was one of the few exceptions. Perhaps it's because I'm crazy for anything with a pop of citron these days. Together with the black, olive and blue, it's very easy to wear and yes, I've worn it a lot. Great with black and great with denim - and the odds are pretty good that I'm in one of those at any given time... :D
