I think my wallet is pretty safe except for the one above. I love the waves! I can't wait to see the new dip dyes though ;) THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!

ITA, I like this design, I think it is Ex Libris en Kimonos, in almost every CW! Also, Magic Kelly and Dame de Coeur are very interesting.

Okay, after taking some time to recoup and catch my breath:

Mythiques Phoenix did not turn out as well as I had hoped. The design looks Pokemon-ish, to me. I would've preferred something more abstract, something more classy/elegant/timeless-looking. My opinion only, of course.

My favorite design is still Ex Libris en Kimonos, but each of the color ways has something "wrong" with it, in my eyes - something that prevents me from loving the color way completely and without reservation.

Well, maybe this is my subconscious' way of telling me that I should stop spending and start saving. And my subconscious would have a point ...

Thanks UNO and Cool TPFer for your kindness in posting the pictures of FW2011 H silks!!!

I am soooo relieved that I only like 2 designs so far for the 90cms (not like last season which I almost like every single design and made me sooo broke)!!

I wonder if the GM Cashmere and Surteints will be as strong as last season? Can't wait for more pictures!

Hope my wallet for H silks is safe this season! :p Thanks again for sharing the wonderful pictures! Really appreciate all the effort!

Cheers,
Mia

What wonderful fun on a Summers day , to sit inside and peruse the images so graciously posted by UNO and Cool Tpfer, many thanks . I agree with others, that some of the designs could have been shared between bright and more muted colourways. I find these brights to be lacking in depth and mystery :I search for something that enhances one , rather than something that screams Look at me !
I think the Ex Libris en Kimonos is a fabulous design , like a Japanese woodblock print...the corners seem to be based on the Great Wave at Kanagawa .
Hoping one of the colourways will suit me .

These are beyond amazing. :drool:Saving my money--effective immediately. Faves are Ex Libris en Kimono, the Apache and (to my own surprise) the graffiti in the fluoro colorway. I might even put my handbag acquisition on hold to get my hands on a half-dozen of these...

...key word being "might* ;)

HUGE THANK YOU!!! I love the scarves for 2011, but bummed about the GM designs (they are my favorite). My bank account is very happy that the fall season will be lighter on the GM's!

My favorite designs are
L'arbre de Vie (probably will get this in the GM, but depends on colorways)
Ex Libris
L'ivresse de I'infini

Can't wait to see the GM's!

I am sorry but if I were your DH, even liking TWO designs would be bad news !!

So which two designs?

Thanks for the information Uno and Cool TPFer

I actually find myself intrigued by the graffiti scarf!!
The Ex-Libris en Kimono looks nice too but I don't know if it will suit me.
Ahh, there is so much play time to be had at the H store.

I hope not! But we do have to wait a decent interval before we can start 'making enquiries' with our SAs in order to protect the information flow. Much though I would like to lay claim to the dayglo graffitti one right this instant.

Personally I've had a bit of a drought the last 2 seasons but I can see myself buying multiple colourways in at least 4 of the new designs. I keep returning to the thread on the quiet just drinking in the eye candy and plotting scarfie mischief.

I suspect L'Arbre de Vie will prove the most popular in the long run as it is a wearable design and colour scheme for a majority of people and the decorative leaves do look a bit like Christmas baubles without the suspect bling of Magic Kelly.

Then again the reissues of 'Pierres....' are so lady-like I might be tempted there......

L'Arbe de Vie is also calling my name- I like the organic and "green" vibe of it plus the universal and spiritual theme. To my eye, just based on pictures here, many of the designs look too hodgepodge and messy for my taste. Or not enough detail to make them compelling.

S/S 2011 was not a strong season imo and I do not see F/W as much better....... and don't even get me started on c/s quality issues. A drought is sometimes good- it makes a good season that much more exciting and worthy of indulging.
