Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

I won't specifically request for one since I don't really have a preference. But if they gave me the choice, I'd pick France.

I prefer all my bags to be made in France and I always ask for one. The SA will give me the usual lecture about how all the bags are being made with the same high quality and that it doesn't matter where they are made from because they have factories all over the world and blah blah blah. Then I'll usually insist on having them go to the back room to look for one made in France or else I won't buy one. Most of the time the SA will roll their eyes and go look for one for me. I know I'm very picky with my LVs.

I don't really care, there's no difference, all the people are trained by LV that makes the bags.

Are the LV's in France made better? Or do you ladies just like for them to say Made in France for historical reasons?

I only own bags Made in France and I only want Made in France versions since my friends who bought Made in USA bags had problems with the quality, especially the bags with zip closures.

Most of the small items like wallets, credit card holders and keychains are Made in Spain though. I don't mind that since I never had any quality problems with these.

LOL.. What does it matter if they are made in France? Some lines/styles are never made in France. Most SA's aren't aware where anything is made.. LOL

I don't care where mine is made -- my newest one is made in USA and I kinda like that.

I only care that I get a brand new date code vs. one that's been sitting!

I like that mine is made in the USA. But really I'd like any LV, France, Spain or US.

Most Lv's I buy at the store and made in Spain. When I bought my speedy it was made in France, so it was a nice surprise! I'm not sure if I've ever seen a made in the usa bag here in the UK! I like having "multi-cultural bags!)

I never used to care until I started having problems with bags made in the USA thats why I want the ones made in France or Spain too many workmanship issues with ones made in the US.

I prefer anything but USA. I hear leather from France smells stronger and patina takes longer. I do notice a difference, but SA's will deny it.
