Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

For some, it may make a difference since you're buying from a French company and made in USA certainly goes against that idea of a "French product".

I don't really mind, my LVs are from everywhere and they're all great !

My Speedy is made in the USA, so should I go over to the corner and cry.=[ Ugh no. I love it just as much.It will be good to be made in France but I think they are just as good.

generally, i dont mind, i only have one thing that says made in spain.... but when i really think about it, i'd like to try and keep my future LV pieces saying, "made in france" just coz i think it feels more special hehehehe

I prefer bags made in the U.S., and even though LV is a French company, I'd like them to be from anywhere BUT France--for personal reasons I won't go into.

I have a couple of LV items that are made in Spain and there is no difference in quality.

Haha, I have, and some do. Either that, or they get super snobby and just walk away.

Oh yes... I did that twice to 2 different SAs. First, they'll try to calmly explain to you that they have factories around the world. Next, they'll say "honey... they're all the same!" or "they're made of the same quality regardless." Some SA will come up with the excuse that "I think all the papillons are made in the USA nowadays" (I was buying a papillon at that time). Then after I threaten that that I will not buy the bag from them unless they can find one made in France, they'll disappear for about 5 min and come back with a French made LV bag and say to you "oh look... today is your lucky day... we found one!". :suspiciou Just be nice but firm and get your made in France bag.

However, I bought a damier ribera mini that was made in Spain because all 4 bags in the store were all from Spain so whatever I took the bag because I like it too much.

what is your opionion about LV products? would you have a second thought if the item that you've been dreaming of turns out to be made in the US instead, or it wouldn't matter at all..

Welcome to the fourm, this has been discussed several times. It's pretty much split down the middle. I don't care either way personally.

I like the made in France better, but some items aren't made in France. With limited edition stuff like cherry blossom retros they were madein Spain. So, you can't always get one made in France. If I like it, I like it no matter where it's made.
