Posting links to my own website?

Am I allowed to link to my own site, if it is useful in context to the post?

For example, at the moment I'm doing an LV speedy ebay price comparison on my blog. Could I post a short paragraph about my study/comparison, then link to my blog for people to see the results?

I want to do this because:

• Sometimes I want to post things for both my blog readers AND tpf readers
• If I post the same full post to both places, it looks bad on my blog in terms of search engines and advertising (they both don't like repeated posts)
