Make a note to your SA, that you already noticed your place being dropped even you are called before other people. Being a VIC do get first dip into new things, but that dosen't mean they will snatch everything up all the time; some times SA just put VIC's name on the list w/o them asking for it. Since you've already gave them your cc info, it will certainly help your status, good luck!

It happens all the time, especially thanks to people like me, I look on here and see the pictures and then call them, and they put me ahead of others even though I'm late

Well, having been on both sides of this...I can understand your frustration, but when you have been a long time customer it is nice to be rewarded.

Being a VIC is about more than the amount of money you spend. Although, I have obviously spent my fair share of money at LV, I am also friendly and out going. I make it a point to know almost all of the SAs and managers. I always send something for the whole shop at the holidays (candy, edible arrangements, etc.). If an SA has gone out of their way to track a hard to find item for me, I will send a thank you note...or a gc for the nordies cafe (which, I know the SAs frequent). I very, very rarely return anything...and always follow through on any items I do wait list for. Also, I always follow up at least once on any item I wait list for.

With that said, I have not missed out on anything I really wanted in the last 2 or 3 years, even on the mirror speedy...that I wait listed for only 4 days before the release date.

this is very possible. I recalled when the Azur Speedy was first released, it was so difficult to my hands on it. I was told from one store that there was over 100 people on the WL, so I placed my name on the list at another store. Two days later, I got the call that it's on hold for me. Yes, I was shocked. I know for sure I'm no VIP or VIC. I believe it's dependent on the SA you work with too.

Exactly:tup:, sorry if the truth hurts ladies:shrugs:(responding to the frustrated emoticons that quoted my post) but I don't keep up with the fashion magazines, etc. and a lot of times I just see pictures on here and then call my boutique, and I always get it. :supacool:

My friends and I joke about this all the time, its crazy the market they have created where we beg and plead, make multiple phone calls, and send gifts JUST TO HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY(not for them to give us for free) these expensive ass bags, we need to strike and create a buyers market where we will be worshipped, etc.......but it would never work there would be a few who would cross the picket line:laugh:

I'm one but they bumped me down last year for the Pomme Inclusions. :tdown:
I was shown the pieces before they came out, then on the launch day, all the pieces were sold.
It took me 2 months to get all the pieces again that were supposed to have been held for me.

I did, however, get both Miroir Speedies and a gold Pochette not long after they came out. I didn't think I'd be able to get the gold Speedy too but my SA found one!
