Poor Quality/Craftsmanship?

My new longchamp le pillage tote came in the other day. I was so excited but after opening the package and inspecting the tote, I noticed some loose (or simply bad out-of-the-line-) stitchings here and there. Also the edges at the two sides of the tote seem out of shape no matter how I shape it... My question is, is this normal or I just got a poor quality one? I expected the overall quality to be at least better than the $30 tote I've been using for 6yrs...

I think your Le Pliage is a dud. I suggest return and ask for a replacement. Never had issues like that with any of my Le Pliages and I have several!

The quality in general of the Lepliage has gone down. The ones from a few years ago, made in france were slightly thicker. Also I have the Planetees' line from 2009! Has holes in the corners now that I just repaired. Very thick and rubbery. The stitching you have showed is careless workmanship. I'll say, "you don't get much for your money with this line!"
