Resurrection of this old thread to ask @cecchetti opinion on pomellato resale and general value. (Ie mark up) Not really thinking of selling anything, but love to know these things… anyone else with relevant experience grateful for your views - please chime in!

Pomellato specialise in large semi precious stones and heavy gold, so there’s more intrinsic value in the gold, although again you’re paying for the name.
I don’t know about resale as Tiffany resells well but has the biggest mark up of all the jewellers, closely followed by Cartier.
I have a degree in gemmology and also know the Graff family and been closely associated with them since the early days when they had one boutique and were unheard of and a family business so am treated like the fixtures and fittings.
I’ve also been in Winston’s 5th Avenue atelier at a very young age and had high jewellery designed for me.
These are one offs which DO have resale value-I don’t really know about RTT , JUC etc..
I’m sorry to sound negative but high jewellery and investment stones are my speciality, not buying “names” and I have a lifetime experience of buying high jewellery (well not quite a lifetime but I started in my teens).❤️

I think this is sky blue topaz, at least this is what they have in their diamond collection. Colour may vary in different lights.
As far as I know they don’t use a wide variety of stones for Nudo and topaz is definitely the one they use.
Pomellato ring owners--do you feel like the rings run true to size? I am in between sizes and wonder if I should go slightly smaller or slightly larger.
Not sure if still useful but I’d say depends on the collection you’re considering. M’ama rings run a tad bigger, similarly Nudo but Iconica are true to size. I’d say in general true to size rather than small, sometimes a bit bigger but literally quarter/half mm. I’d recommend you find out your true size in EU/IT ring sizes, which Pomellato use, it should match. There can be discrepancies when converting online, in my case UK size to IT, I always found it tricky. Hopefully if the size doesn’t fit you can exchange, buying online has its advantages 
Enjoying my 2 Pomellato rings since almost 9 and 6 years. Thinking now of getting matching necklaces. Does any of you know of a Pomellato necklace thread or maybe even wear them yourself? Thinking of combining both colors in a classic and petit size necklace.
Anyone have the rose quartz? The stores near me don’t seem to stock them - is it less popular? Does it not look at nice because the color is too light? I am interested to get the necklace…
