The textured leather is very sturdy but I guess the smooth leather feels more luxurious (just guessing, since I don't own a smooth leather bag from them). I own bags in both colors and love them both. I gravitate more towards camel in spring/summer and cognac in fall/winter.

May i know, is the cognac color a reddish orange or dark brown? and is camel a light brown color?
do you own the dix bag in camel textured leather?

The cognac is medium brown - definitely not dark brown, the camel is light brown. The cognac is a very warm color so of course it has a reddish undertone but it doesn't look too orange-y in my opinion, it's still predominantly brown. Yes, I own the dix in camel textured leather and I'm a big fan. I posted my bags recently in the Polene family picture thread, I can recommend looking at that thread for side by side color comparisons.

Dear all, does anyone have the hobo version of the bag? If so, could you please post pictures wearing it crossbody? I’m debating if taking it or not and I want to be sure as returning it would be very expensive… Many thanks!
