I too got treated to this cute bag for my birthday & managed to take it on holiday! It’s great for taking the essentials when sightseeing & thanks to the 2 straps; effortlessly converts into an evening bag. It is smaller than the original, however for me it’s perfect, I can fit all my essentials in & I just love how it sits cross body on me & is secure. Perfect also to use on flights when you’re restricted to 1 carry on - as it’s small as a cross body but perfectly holds passport, small wallet, keys, lip balm, hand cream, air pods & the small kirigami with my tablets - 100% love it & recommend for those who love small compact bags.

Any reviews on the Pochette Metis East West? Hoping to read some feedbacks before purchasing one. Not sure if I want to buy the original PM or the new East West due to the price.
I love the PM EW. It holds a good amount, at first I thought it wasnt going to hold my essentials, but I kept putting more in the bag and everything kept fitting, I was amazed. I will post pics what i put in it. The Pochette Metis is my favorite LV bag and it is larger and holds more, but since covid I have been using smaller bags and now this one is the perfect size. I have no regrets and am very happy with my purchase (I did purchase it while on holiday in Europe, so cost less and VAT refund, so I feel like I really got a good value)
Have you happened to check YouTube yet? There are quite a few review videos on there, including a few that compare it to the original PM. In addition to the awesome feedback on this thread, I found the videos to be really informative when I was trying to learn about the bag, before I was able to go to a store to try it on for myself.

I recently had the complete opposite experience lol. I liked it when it came out and immediately said no because of the price. I had the original PM which I loved for years but sold. After I went in and tried it on, I was obsessed! Debating if I what to buy now or wait for my bestie to go back to Europe and save money.I thought I would love this but when I tried it on yesterday It just did nothing for me. A relief for my bank account!
I felt the same way but once I put it on I was in love. I recently sold my Cluny bb at a break even and my bumbag for a $600 profit so I feel a little better about the price now. However it’s definitely overpriced and I don’t care for the gold chain I wish it was $500 cheaper without it lol.
