Pochette Metis East/West

Im considering getting this purse. If you guys own it, what color did u get? I already have so many black purses and don’t really want another monogram, but im afraid of lighter colored stuff lol. Anyone have the cream? Or any of the bicolor ones (noir/beige or dove/cream)? What did u guys think?

cute, bulky, doesn't hold much, the removable chain strap and removable strap are great for other bags too.

Count me in to the club! I’ve been a longtime admirer of the PM and have tried it on many times, but sadly it is just too big and boxy for my frame. I’d always hoped for a smaller version, so when the E/W was released I was giddy…EXCEPT I don’t do monogram. Then came Empriente, but only in black (which I have too much of as it is) and cream (which I didn’t think I would like) *sigh* When I saw the release of the full size PM in the wine color empriente I figured I’d give it another try and reached out to my SA, who had one in stock. Nope! Still too big and boxy and I was disappointed in the wine color. It reads more of a muddy brown in certain lights IMO. Just not to my liking. Since I was there, on a whim I asked if she had the PM E/W in cream empriente in stock, and she did…just one. It was love at first sight! Perfect size for me, dresses up or down, holds quite a bit, and the cream color fills a hole in my collection without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, the one in stock had a black mark (possibly glazing) on the inside edge. My SA ordered a new one and it was delivered today. It is perfection!

I have only good experiences with the cream and light colored bags of LV. I don't have the PM EW in cream but do have the Easy Pouch and I use it a lot! Have it for 1,5 years now and no problems at all with color transfer or getting it dirty and I don't baby the bag. The only things you have to think about is don't wear it with black and dark jeans and wash all your new (medium to light colored) jeans and colorful clothes 1/2 times before you use it with a light colored bag. I always do this and never had problems with color transfer. I would go for it!

This club is quiet now?! I have to agree that I love mine "Cream" color Pochette Metis East West. I have been rotating between the black and cream since April...

Just ordered the new gray monogram, couldn't resist my love to this small but almighty(fits all my daily essentials and more) bag...

I went to the store to get this new gray monogram but to my disappointment both of the ones they had in the store all had flaws… one has a piping not evenly sewn around the other has a stain on the pull tab. I then realized there’s a lot of vachetta leather on this particular style… having doubts
Thinking I should pick another style without so much vachetta leather?!
To be honest that’s what makes the bag looks so good and I like the gray monogram has some shiny effect just not sure what to do?!

Ohno, that's horrible to hear from the quality issues. I have to say with the purchase of my latest PM EW (the pink opale) I also encountered issues and had to reorder to get a good one (still not perfect but nearly). The main problem is the print being slanted and/or the top flap tilting. It's so annoying because my other PM EW are all perfect so you would say it's not that hard to make a good one? But lately I have to tripple check everything I buy

Anyhow, talking about the Trianon, I also really like it. At first when I saw the stock pictures I wasn't impressed but I saw a lady wearing it in day light and it looked amazing! But agree on the light vachetta, even tho it looks amazing it would scare me. If you're okay with only wearing it on good weather days and have enough bags for rainy days it's a nice bag to have tho

I bought the on-the-go in the Trianon and had they also had the PM EW I would have taken it home in a heartbeat too. I think the vachetta goes so well with the grey. I will say it seems shinier under the store lighting, definitely not so much in natural light. The vachetta is going to be comfortable crossbody once it softens up.

I am planning on picking up the black bicolor at the Rome airport in October!! Super excited. I have the classic pm and I’ve always loved it, but the east west looks trendier!
