Im so happy to see they finished the zipper end properly, like they use to do!!! thats quality. Many of the newer items just have the zipper ends cut off. This Eva has the zipper end sewn into the seam (the proper way to finish a zipper)

Yes, it did have the sticker on the plate. I haven't even removed it yet. Mine was also in a box too small that caused wrinkles. I wish they were more careful with packaging. Even the dust bag is a little small. How are you removing the wrinkles? I have mine stuffed with socks - not sure it's working.
Today I packed it tight with tissue paper and left it outside on my porch (in the shade) hoping the heat would loosen up the canvas. It really helped. If this happened to me-if the canvas did not look like it does in the photo on their website-I would return it.
Good that it has removable chain, can buy strap and it work perfect, old one has chain fixed and in the way when use shoulder strap.

Any update on the release for Eva there in Germany?
I went into a LV store to look at the Eva. The one I looked at was poorly made in the sense that it was "limp"-it did not have a "shape" at the bottom. It did not look "rich" like the original. So I will pass. I am happy that I have an original Eva in DE. I just wish I could have had the Eva in monogram. They should have made the new Eva EXACTLY like the original.
I agree. I went in store to look at it yesterday and was so disappointed. Poor quality, thin canvas, the bag can’t hold itself up, felt flimsy and I don’t think it’s worth almost $1600 after tax. Very disappointed because iit was such a great little bag.
Sorry that it doesn’t meet your expectations.
I guess I would even take it with a wavy canvas - want it so much!
