Please post Emerald Cut Diamond photos.

My stone is modest in size compared to many of the gorgeous emerald diamonds shown in this thread. I had decided to upgrade the size but due to the impact of RA on my hands and fingers as well as having a quality diamond I decided to keep it. I had it taken out of the platinum setting and left the diamonds with it plus I no longer wear the diamond band that goes with it. My daughter will take both and eventually use them. Mine is set in simple 18k rose gold and I am enjoying it. The diamond is just under 2cts, VVS 2 and E in color. Sorry it is so dirty!

That is breathtaking. What a clean emerald cut and perfect size. I got engaged with a small emerald (.75, E, VVS1). I think emeralds have to be clean and perfect and hence sacrificed size for color and clarity. It was just too petite so we upgraded to a princess cut (1.22, F, VVS1).

Apparently I have lost it because I thought I consulted with you on this change but then I realized we were lost in my pendant design so I must have forgotten this. Hope you like what I did with it as the diamond looks great in the rose gold. Of course, nothing replaces platinum.

Thank you and I am happy you like the diamond. You are so right in regard to an emerald diamond. Any imperfection is so easy to see. In all honesty, if I was going to change mine I should have done it years ago so I am happy I kept my original stone. I think you made a good decision in regard to your stone because I think the princess cut is lovely. Yours sounds beautiful and I would love to see it.
