About two years ago I had my original emerald cut diamond reset in this rose gold setting. A few months ago I changed diamonds in the setting. I haven't worn it much and only time will tell if I like the new diamond. I have my original one so I can always replace it or have it done in something else

Thank you so much ladies! Sky, the reason I haven't worn it hardly is it is a newer cut than my original one and I can't get used to the change in the way it looks. Plus I still am concerned about my hands since the RA has damaged them so much and the stone seems so much larger. Who knows what I will do?

Once again resurrecting this thread from its slumber. :coolio:

Legendary Mexican actress Maria Felix, posing with an amazing diamond snake necklace she commissioned Cartier to make; and an equally drop-dead gorgeous emerald cut diamond ring. Possibly an engagement ring from her husband, Swiss businessman Alexander Berger.

Love this thread and the EC’s are amazing!
I’ve always wanted one and this particular stone has haunted me for years. Stuck in the back row of my local jewelers window but I swear it winks at me.
I think no one wants it because the specs are overkill. But I’m a spec person and to own a “perfect” stone makes my heart skip a beat.
It’s only 1.3 carats but seriously legit perfect specs. GIA certified D color and IF clarity. Perfect proportions too!

Do you all think it’s too small?D129D1A2-4656-4C29-A796-8DDED3EA3C94.png

Your ring is beautiful and nice manicure too. Love the red.

If you are asking, you must think it’s too small?
Exactly!
But I’m looking at it for a RHR or even possibly an alternative e-ring.
Crazy, I know, but I am just so attracted to emerald cut solitaires as well as perfect specs....I’ve tried to figure out why that is (like am I truly crazy ). But I guess where jewelry is concerned there really isn’t any logic.
It’s a spectacularly beautiful stone so I can’t go wrong no matter how I wear it!
...and those double clawed prongs are so gorgeous too!
