I have a feeling this was a 'made-for-outlet' bag made in the original Half-Moon shape.

My pleasure. I may be mistaken but I have this thing in my head that they might have been available from a rare DSW sale a couple/few of years ago so maybe also type in 'DSW' in the main part of the forum too.

I don't believe this Gucci has a name as I think it was just a Gucci briefcase, but does anyone know when it came out?? It is navy canvas. I noticed FashionPhile has the same bag going for $1048. Any help would be highly appreciated!! Thanks so much!! :salute:

So I was on Ebay and came across this gorgeous evening bag. Of course as luck would have it, I was outbid with 10 seconds to spare. I have searched Google and have come across one or two other bags that have the two horsebits with the marina link in the middle (on the front), but can't seem to find the name of this bag.
Please help!!

I'm not sure but if I remember rightly there were a few travel size bags with this colouring around 2008/9

So sorry you lost out, such a gorgeous bag. The problem with some of these evening versions is that not so many are made.

I would have thought that it would be something like the 'Wave' Evening (2006)

You main photo does not work for me but from the little I can see in the other 2 pics I'd guess its a leather and python Greenwich just from the hardware and paneling.

I did figure out that it probably was part of the Wave collection, but have mostly been getting bostons when searching on google, nothing for satin evening bags.

While I was searching for a completely different bag, I found this:

Thanks so much, PT!! Been wanting this bag for awhile but been in an LV stage, but I'm back!! Just received the bag today and it is GORGEOUS!! It is HUGE but you know that's the way I like 'em and I'll be sporting it as a daily handbag. Matches my Gucci boots to the T!! Wee hee!!! WINNING!!! heh heh Love ya, PT!!! :hugs:

Wow, congratulations my fellow Gucci lover (LV is nice too of course ;)). The bag must be amazing IRL and I can imagine it fits in perfectly with your own wonderful collection :hugs:

Thank you paper tiger! This one doesn't have the bamboo on it or the feet but I've seen that one as well. Both very nice bags! I'll see if I can send some larger photos later on today of the other bag. I appreciate your help as always!
