It's a 'carpet' Hysteria from A/W 2008/9
Without seeing the inside I can only guess at an early 1980s GAC collection.
(From this photo at least) it looks like a toiletry bag but there are no rules to say you can't use it as a clutch
Thanks papertiger, it does have a long leather strap with Gucci emblems and is quite large, my picture doesn't do it justice but is the only photo I have of it on my phone while I'm at work : )
No prob. That's excellent, so you wear it as a shoulder bag (perhaps even cross-body) these vintage GAC bags are so in fashion ATM, if its a new-to-you acquisition congratulations
These was one like this about 1999/2000 but it had a piston lock (like the hardware on most models of the Jackie). I have personally never seen one quite like this before.
Please help me name this gucci bag, i purchased it and want to do research to make sure its authentic. I know i cant authenticate on this thread, but a name would really help!! TIA! There is a serial code under the tag thats hard to read. It says 0010844793.

.just wondering im kinda confused about my decision to purchase the gucci imprime black tote,as im gonna travel soon and my old gucci tote needs to retired ,i had it for almost 10years old.just wondering is the imprime really worth the money?im choose black cause i dont have any black bag,and it is a classic color for me.what do you guys think?is this bag is gonna be appropriate for any occassion too?since its black.Thx.

Where did u purchase this bag?it looks a lot more like gucci boston bag.but it isnt
I can't remember the name but if you do a trawl through the outlet thread I think you will find them from a couple of years ago. They might have been considered 'travel' rather than 'handbag'.
