Im about to buy a BV bag with the serial number 10500105390NE.
Is there any way to find out when the bag is from, from seeing the serial number?

I would believe it to be Italy, as that’s where the bags are made. This appears to be an older bag, vintage. Still made in Italy.

I think I just bought anemone medium cabat. I saw the seller and the price which was so low that it is worth getting it even in the worst state but it looks awesome. I wanted to check if the color is anemone, it is dark dark purple with tag showing a number for color starting with 5, it is 5009, so I jumped because I thought first it was a black cabat. I am crazy about dark purple so I jumped right in and got it

Many made for outlet items have a plain cotton lining. Without seeing the heatstamp and authenticity tag, I couldn’t even say if it’s authentic.

If authentic, it was called something like a Basket Tote, and yes, it was only made for outlet.
