Please help with a confusing BAL!

Hello,

This Balenciaga weekender does not come with a dustbag or tags.
From what I've read, Apple Green was only released in 2005. The metal tag, however, says "U" which indicates that this bag was from 2007.

How is this possible?! Please help!
