Just pulled the trigger on my first H belt! Very excited  It's a 24mm reversible with a palladium medor buckle which my SA said was new.

The first side is Rouge de Coeur in swift, the other side is Mauve Sylvestre in epsom. I was actually hoping for the Rouge de Coeur/Rose Azalee combo but they didn't have it in my size  My challenge will now be to find ways to wear the Mauve Sylvestre. I don't do pastels! But I loved the Rouge de Coeur so much that I had to get this belt regardless. Any styling ideas for the pale pink belt would be welcome!

Thanks! I actually wanted to get a gold Constance buckle, attached to the red belt it looked absolutely amazing with white pants... but unfortunately it's not very appropriate for me to wear flashy/expensive/obvious accessories to work. So I went with the medor buckle, very nice and discreet :)

I moved your posts here so people can carry on giving you suggestions.

For work I think you could wear it either way over a plain dress, skirt/shirt, pants/shirt. Grey would be beautiful with either. A flash of white metal jewellery and done.

Don't you think the pink side would work with light-wash denim and any softer colour tee? It doesn't have to be pastel, white, off-white, grey marl/heather, grape, green, turquoise etc. In a way I think the pink side is even more versatile as the RdC is very statement.

Too hot for a silk scarf, but I think I can get way with a chiffon one .
Today I will have a casual lunch with a couple (a little older than us. ) I want to relax but also try to look conservative, I give my Hermes 2002 a try. But the whole outfit look confuse to me . Maybe I have to Change my chiffon to some thing black and white to make the whole look not to colorist !!! Today is One of the day that I feel I meet “ first world problem” . I need help styling with my Hermes print bag. Please tell me what you think.
(Mod please move or relocate my post to the right one if needed.)
Have a wonderful weekend to all my Ladies.:heart:

First af all, I think the outfit is fine, but I can see the struggle. I would just stick to a black and white color scheme, if possible. This reminds me why I can’t do black bags or other leather accessories — I find is so challenging to style. I admire those who can do it.

I do like Black/White combo, but someday that my nerdy is not function right, I want to do something out of the box. Usually never succeed :giggle::giggle:. I thank you for your suggestion. :hugs:I will stick to the basic.

This is such a fun thread! I love these design elements and options questions. If this special bag were mine, I would want it to be the focus of attention so

1) Sleek or form fitting but solid bright colors like the ribbed dresses altuzarra and proenza schouler have done for last couple seasons
2) Neutrals like a cream colored collared shirt and wide legged cream pants... a nice H belt and some gorgeous pearls or MOP jewelry
3) Japanese deconstructionists like Yohji, or comme des garcons - but all black. Rick Owens and Martin Margiela would work too.
4) white linen shirt and boyfriend jeans with spanish wedge espadrilles

If you want to use patterns, i think polka dots might be lovely, like a peasant like blousy small polka dot top, and poufy big polka dot skirt. They should be matching colors but they don’t have to be matchy matchy.

Of course, all suggestions are outfits I own except the polka dots, and so if you really feel you run out of outfit options and you want to send her to me for errrr modeling, please let me know. I am happy to volunteer my time to this.

Have you tried to pair your 2002 with an all black outfit? I feel the pattern will pop and the size of the bag will blend into the look.

I sum up all your ideas and I get a few new looks. Thanks all Ladies :love:

beautiful combos!

Last note/opinion —may differ from other more fashionable ladies — I think the shoe choice essential to anchoring this lovely bag.

Shoes, or also for me it would probably be 2 black items (as in the bag plus one more) to keep the look pulled together. But, I'm also a big time rule breaker too. Generally you get a feel when an outfit is pulled together just right.

So if I am going for the shoe scenario with this, I'd try black shoes on the first outfit first to see if a top/middle/bottom black accent looks right (then change if necessary). For the red outfit- black shoes and for the shorts outfit I might actually try white shoes first....
