Have been offered this pastel beauty in Jaune Poussin . Will need to decide soon. She's a b25 ghw togo. Pics of similar bags from IG (credits on the pics).
I have so many soft yellow items to pair with it and seeing the pic with rose Sakura really grabbed my heart :nuts:

I love this pastel yellow- especially with GHW! It matches a lot of colors. I‘m waiting for lime but would totally get Jaune Poussin instead if offered. Please post a pic when you get her

I unfortunately don’t have a light blue Kelly (which is on my wishlist and I am hoping my store has ordered one) but I had a light blue top handle bag made for me to shorten the waiting time. Light blue is one of the most versatile colours for me but it depends on the undertone. Maybe the below will help (sorry, bah quality and no sunshine) - I am brave enough to combine it even with red, dark green, burgundy...may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

@pinkorchid20, I know this is an older post of yours, but I love your style! You are gorgeous!

Help please, :hbeat:
Recently I want to have a belt bag but don't want to add a new bag to my collection yet. I want to keep it as is for now.
So I turn my Clic 16 wallet into a belt bag. What do you think about the Twilly and a Mors ring, or I should have a Twillon ( no need to add Mors ring in this case) instead? And I haven't had a Twillon yet but here how it looks with the Twilly and Mors ring.
What do you think?

I love this! You look amazing! I like finding different uses for the Mors ring

1. I finally tried on a mini lindy and still didn’t like it

pros: it’s a crossbody that has a tiny outside pocket and can hold more than a TPM
(if we weren’t such die hard H fans, we would realize this description covers half the bags in the civilized world)

cons: maybe I’m slow witted, but I found it hard to get into - one advantage of the lindy in larger sizes is you can leave one zipper open, the other closed and just slide your hand in. But. Perhaps my hands are large for my height

its really sticky outie in depth relative to its size. It’s essentially a stocky, chunky bag. Since my body type is slightly stocky and chunky, I think I prefer a sleeker thinner bag, or a larger bag that makes me feel sleeker and thinner when I carry it

it’s outer handles are useless, since most people like the lindy bc there are two ways of holding it

DH started to laugh and say that I looked really irritated opening it up

shrugs. I guess that means there are just more for those people who love them

2. I'm going to try a Della cavalleria on Wednesday. I have higher hopes for that one, and I don’t think it’s popular

Your description of it being "sticky outie in depth" has really convinced me I don't really need or want the Mini Lindy anymore. Thank you, that was the last H bag on my "want" list!

I think the mini Lindy is so cute! I am also a short, er, stocky person but here is a low quality pic of it on. I just think it’s so cute!

I am so sad to have to report that the mania over Birkins and their popularity with 'influencers' and you tubers and wannabe's has put me right off them...I've felt this feeling growing in me for the past 6 months and today I found a really lovely used one at a price within my budget on a reputable pre-loved site and I just went...'nah' and carried on seeking discontinued styles .
I hope this feeling passes because The Birkin was a bag I've loved since it first launched.
I loved it because of its 'cool' association with Jane Birkin who is something of an icon of mine, I loved it because it was under the radar and its quality and relative rarity made it (to my eyes and mind at least) achingly chic.
I loved it because it was big enough to hold my 'stuff' in and looked to be the perfect tote for work and travel carry on bag.
All that feels tainted now..
I'm sorry

It’s silly to me that anyone would allow random wannabe influencers to change their mind about anything. Not getting something you (used to?) genuinely love because Kim K (for an easy example) is wearing one is exactly the same as buying an item you don’t love only because Kim K is wearing one. In both cases you’re allowing your personal preferences to be influenced by some inconsequential nobody rather than just being true to yourself. Life is too short.

I think the connotation of wearing some of these bags has changed due to influencer culture, and it's fair to be mindful of the message one conveys when wearing certain items of clothing. For example, I (used to) loved louboutin heels but I may not wear it to an office meeting because of the image it portrays...These days, I don't love louboutins because I think they became overplayed and i just want something a bit more low key. I can appreciate the shoe is beautiful but that doesn't mean I want to carry all the baggage associated with it

I appreciate it's not a perfect analogy but it is about being mindful of the image one conveys and assumptions others may make about you. Esp at some of these price points, better safe than sorry
