If you want it to be "hidden". get a .8 or 1mm. I think it would depend how high up things are. If you have a donut on your e-ring setting, you might want to go with a 1mm simply bec the height will help keep the eating down to a minimum.
Oops sorry ame!. I was on my cellphone earlier and not sure why i couldn't quote your msg when replying.

I wanted to ask.. what's a donut? Sorry if it's a stupid question.. I have the tiffany setting. Does it have a "donut"? lol :) thank you!!

Yes the Tiffany original setting does have a donut. It's the little round base at the bottom of the head of the setting that kind of protrodes.

I love #1, but my concern would be with diamonds on three sides, it would scratch your E-ring or your the friction between the two rings would cause some of the diamonds on the band to come off. My wedding ring has diamonds on three sides and I don't pair it with a wedding band for that reason. Plus, you are covering up one of the sides on diamonds which defeats the purpose behind the ring.

For those reasons, I'd go with #2 .

Good luck. They are all beautiful!

Thanks Christiflora... I didn't even consider the fact that pave diamond band will be more high maintenance until a few of you guys mentioned it. AHHHHHHH... now i don't know what to do LOL.

I was going to recommend number 1. I have a similar type of band and I love it. It's timeless. I've had no issues of losing stones. Now my engagement ring has the same type of band - and I have lost a couple of stones (and I am rough with jewelry). The couple that I have lost were fairly inexpensive to replace. I've had the bands for 8 years now.

Do not if you decided yet but the 1st is elegant and looks as if it belongs together. The other two all I see is the band as the diamonds are too big in my opinion and takes over the setting. 1st is a timeless classic where down the line you can add another identical band on the other side of the ring. Not to mention on the first it sits flush against your ring. I don't like spacing between my rings. This is just what I did for my upgrade. Congrats!

Also recommend getting the ring somewhere the store has a diamond bond agreement. Meaning if by chance you do loose a stone they will replace for free. You will have to make sure you get your ring checked regularly but I'd rather have that inconvenience then paying to have my stones replaced.

While I love the DeBeers ring, I don't like rings sitting 'flush' against one another.

In this case, I love the Jazz. Very unique and doesn't take away from your Engagement ring which should always be the showstopper in my opinion.

I have a very simple diamond eternity band as my wedding band as anything more elaborate would compete with my e-ring.

I also wear a very thin 1mm platinum spacer in between my wedding and engagement ring to prevent scratching and wear/tear

I prefer choice #2.
It is beautiful both with and without your engagement ring. I prefer that the diamonds go all the way around and the proportions of the stones look better than the third option IMO.
The look is lovely and fresh..yet timeless.
