I am sorry you missed out on the LD. I am personally a big fan of Celine (although I do not own the trotteur). I think the shape of the trotteur is classic enough so you should be fine. Though I would probably pick a different colour for a bit more variety.
Have you considered the box?

I really like the box! However, it's a bit more than I would like to spend. I just bought the Chanel so I want to keep this bag under 3000. The box is 4100 where I live!
