Please help me pick a wedding band

I don't want a thinner ring. I always pictured a big significant wedding band:) I don't know anymore . 80% of people I asked said round... but I get a feeling it's because it looks like they supposed to go together, same exact styles... but I like the uniqueness of the radiant cut, it's feels and looks more substantial and expensive.

Many suggested round because a round cut, if compared to other cuts, it's the most expensive per carat weight because it gives the most sparkle. IMO, bigger doesn't always mean better, it's the quality of the diamond that matters. I think it's great to get everyone's option but everyone has their own taste, so go with your gut feeling and what makes you happy and comfortable because at the end of the day, you're the one that will be wearing it and looking at it everyday. :flowers:

In cases like this, I really think it is best not to ask for opinions. I think everyone has preferences, and this board (and most people) lean/s heavily classic. There's nothing wrong with that, but it may not be what makes YOU happy. And in the long run, it is YOU who will be spending more time looking at your rings than anyone else. Please don't make a decision that will make 80% of strangers (who will likely never look twice at your rings) happy and leave you feeling cold. Your rings are about you.

I am eyeing a RHR, and I really favour *gasp* pear or marquise cuts. I am well aware that a lot of people are not fond of these cuts (especially marquise), but I think they are beautiful. I can guarantee you that when and if I am ready to make a decision on a diamond RHR, I won't be asking opinions on style. On value, quality of diamonds, cut, fabrication, etc? Absolutely. But NOT on style. Just because other people may not be fond of your choice doesn't mean it isn't right for you.

Thank you, that was very well said. Yes I will pick what makes me happy for sure. I'm very hard headed and if I want smth I'll just go for it. This subject I just wasn't sure because I love both looks. But now that you mentioned "classic" I am more classic, every piece of jewelry I own is very classic . I might just go with rounds and wait for an anniversary to get the radiants;)
