Please help me choose- Cartier small vs full pave or VCA

Thank you so so much everyone for your input! It was a bit stressful as I was traveling and trying to take advantage of the fact that prices are slightly lower in Asia right now (purchased in Bangkok Emporium and Seoul Maison). I will wear them well

Well here is the update. I purchased the small pave love and LOVE it. It is so comfortable to wear. I confirmed that while full pave is gorgeous, I just can’t rock it. I love it on others though. And then…I tried on the VCA perlee bangle again and loved it so I purchased it too. I will likely wear it alone but probably not everyday. I figured that I’d add perlee at some point as it was just a matter of time. I convinced myself to purchase it now rather than later at a higher price. I’m almost jumping for joy for you. TWO?! Can’t get better especially to me, it looks like it’s really a tough choice to only pick one (I’m not into VCA but I actually thought that looks nice on your in the first place).

Thank you glamourbag! You made some really good points about the two bracelets. Thank you for your advice. It was such a hard decision but I knew I wanted to add both as it was just a matter of time. So the time was now! I wanted to add pave pendant as well but had to pass this time. Maybe in a few years as I am on a ban.

Congrats on those gorgeous purchases!! I have the clover and it’s such a beautiful, fun bracelet! I stack it with my love and wear the clover closer to my hand with the love above it. I find it looks more balanced that way. I feel like it really would look best alone, but since I prefer to wear a watch on my left wrist and my love is on my right wrist 24/7, wearing alone isn’t an option!

What are your first takes on the sm pavé? Is it as gorgeous irl as the pics seem to suggest? I am seriously considering for a big birthday.

When I first tried it on several months ago, I felt it was underwhelming. However, when I tried it again this time, it grew on me and I LOVE it. It is the perfect amount of sparkle for daily wear and compliments my regular love very well. I was getting a little tired/bored of my regular love but now I am in love all over again. It is very comfortable for daily wear. It is honestly a beautiful piece. I thought I was set on the full pave before going into the store but found that it was a huge chunky glitter bomb and I couldn’t wear it daily with my lifestyle and especially at work. The lock seems pretty secure so far but not as secure as my regular love- we’ll see with time. I say go for it! I like it better than layering with a tennis bracelet as it has more of a design/style. I would say it is very poor value for money lol ($27k for less than 1 carat is laughable) but it is very comfortable and cost per wear will be high. It has a very feminine look which I like. However, it doesn’t look great as a stand alone piece so if you want a statement piece, go for full pave.

I think it’s gorgeous IRL.

Sometimes I do find the sm too thin though. But it really depends on what look you’re looking for. For that amoun$, I think the bvlgari Serpenti bracelet full pave gives more bang for the buck however I believe that snake look is not for everyone but it’s no denying it blings way more than the cartier. (2.8C vs 0.95C . )

Yes I tried serpenti too. Yes you get significantly more bling and carat weight but snakes creep me out so it was a no go for me. Serpenti is a little more on the edgy side in my opinion. You can find a million other bracelets with better bang for buck for small pave love but I like the small pave for daily use. It is a great supplemental piece if you have other pieces that are statement pieces.

I agree that there’s no replacement for the love sm pave. It has the element of the love motif with added bling. It’s signature-ly Cartier like no other.

I don’t really see the obvious gap and this piece is already 9years old thereabout. My aunt used to own it and we both have never experienced mishap on the clasp so it’s actually all good.
