Hello, I am also new and trying to get a response to authenticating a current fendi bag on ebay. This is my first time and the site is confusing to say the least. Here is my information. Can someone please help me or provide the correct steps as to how to authenticate a bag? In this case it is a fendi bag. Once I learn the steps, I have a chanel and lv bag to authenticate as well. Also let me know if I followed the correct instructions as this is new to me. I asked the seller whether or not the bag was authenticated a day or so ago and they replied today stating the bag was authenticated and they could provide an email of the authenticator. Not sure about this one. A few issues with the stitching etc. that caught my eye. Thank you in advance.

I would like to say the first thing you need to do when authenticating is to look at the quality of the bag. You can see and feel quality. The reason I say that is because sometimes the "authentication methods" people use are not valid for every bag of a given brand. Look and feel the quality. Look for detail. Does the leather stick out too far? Is the stitching uneven? Most fake bags will overlook such detail. However, counterfeiters are getting good and it maybe getting hard to tell the difference (especially from only pictures). The reason these bags are so expensive are because of their quality... counterfeit bags will not have the same quality and that is one way you can determine a counterfeit of any expensive designer branded bag.
