Please help - 'Made in England' printed onto leather?!

Hi,

Does anyone else have a east west bayswater or any other model where the Made In England is not just a black tag but also printed like this...



I have had it authenticated but also just wanted to see if this is normal and why as I usually see this in an oval shape without made in England printed? May it be because it is an older style?

Haven't got one but just in this past week a Mabel sold on Ebay (red one I think) which had that & the bag was authenticated on here by our Ladies & I'm sure I have seen it on others (older bags) .. oh, found the listing so here's a link for you to have a look (3rd pic from the end) xx

Yes some of the older bags had this from around 2006/7 and maybe before
