Hi ladies, I hope this is an OK question. Were Lindies produced in Togo leather in the last 10 years?

I purchased a Lindy from 2016 second-hand and, while the reseller says it’s in Clemence leather, it doesn’t feel like the Clemence pieces I have (have 2 other purses from the boutique). It feels lighter, looks matte, and the grain feels a bit flatter and has a drier hand-feel compared to those other Clemence pieces. I see Togo Lindies sold at other reputable reseller sites but hardly see any discussion on it so unsure if those guys were mis-identifying it too.

If it’s a no, my other theories are maybe it’s just a drier Clemence or was freshly repainted. Or it’s a fake but I won’t go there yet.

No, it was never made in Togo. From what I know only in Clemence, Evercolor and Swift for regular leather.

I see Togo Lindies sold at other reputable reseller sites but hardly see any discussion on it so unsure if those guys were mis-identifying it too.

Thank you! I know, I’m a little perplexed by it. I’ve seen these on Yoogi’s, saclabs, Collector Square, Sellier Knightsbridge, etc. I think I might just be unfairly comparing a relatively unused bag to my much-used clemence bags which have patina’d.

Looks like classic clemence to me. Remember, its a natural product and no two animals will be exactly the same. Some have drier skin etc.

In case this helps anyone else:
I did an online chat with a CS rep (had no idea that was an option)
It seems that the band sizes do not necessarily refer to the size Heure H watch you have- just the band itself- so if you want a wider band- you would order the 30mm- not the 25mm (which was what I thought “matched” with my model).
Soooo it makes sense in theory. Returning the small band (which would not have fit into my watch anyways, but whatever) and will reorder the 30mm.
We shall see…

I have seen a Colvert Bolide from 2015 advertised, but not leather specified. the pictures look grainy, could be Togo, maybe Clemence? Does anyone know which leather a 35 Bolide feom 2015 in Colvert could have been made from?

For a Bolide, the leather should be Clémence. Colvert was made for Clémence around that time.

Gladly. Can’t go wrong with Colvert (a.k.a. “Mallard”)! A bit reminiscent of old Bleu Thalassa— pre-2007 to be exact.

Hard to be certain without a better idea of the production year, but I believe this bag is Vert de Gris Evercolor.

Does someone know what bag this is and when was it made? I think the hardware is silver, am I right? Any information is appreciated. Thank you!
