I saw this on Facebook Marketplace. What is a Kong version? It looks regular. Sorry if it's common knowledge; that term is new to me, and Google isn't very helpful.

I have never heard of a “Kong version” Birkin, so I’m guessing there was a translation issue with the seller. If not that, perhaps the seller meant that the bag was purchased in Hong Kong? If you’re interested in the bag, I would ask the seller for clarification.

It seems the seller is also confused about the colour of the bag. There is no colour called “Midnight Blue” at Hermès, certainly not for a production year of [N]. There are the newer Bleu Nuit and Bleu de Minuit, but neither of these would have been available in that production year.

Hi everyone,

I recently bought this from a Japanese consignment store, I liked that it was casual and a little more unusual, but I have not been able to verify what design it is (if there is one), what year it would likely have been made etc.

There doesn’t appear to be a serial or date code in the bag, perhaps fabric bags didn’t receive this type of detail.

I’ve seen some online but I don’t know if the design ‘seller sling’ ‘cavalier sling’ are just guesses that are getting recycled.

Any help so I can feel better acquainted with my new friend would be much appreciated! IMG_3945.jpeg

Hi there. The bag is a Cavalier Rocabar. “Cavalier” refers to the silhouette and equestrian inspiration for the bag, while “Rocabar” refers to the stripe pattern on the bag. That Rocabar pattern is a very common Hermès motif. ;)

Hello!
Would someone be able to help me identify this leather?
Thank you and happy Sunday!
This looks like either Naturel Chamonix or Naturel Vache Naturelle. Given the style of blind stamp, I’d side more with Vache Naturelle. If you could provide a picture of the resin (or lack thereof) on the bag, that should help to confirm. Happy Sunday to you as well!:flowers:

Note: this item is in very damaged condition, irreparable in some areas.

Hello!
Thank you for your time and help.
Here is a photo of the edges. Is this where the resin (or lack of resin) normally located?

Yep, thank you! No resin around the top of the bag since it’s stitched, but it looks like the handle and the leather bit going through the eyelets do have resin*. Given this, I would say the colour and leather are Naturel and Chamonix, respectively.

*resin, as opposed to the gomme arabique used on Vache Naturelle bags.

Hello, I am a newbie to this forum.
I have been trying to identify the color of Morgan Stewart's Kelly for the longest time without ANY luck. She has a beautiful collection and impeccable style. I believe it is a kelly 42 relax, but correct me if i'm wrong. This color speaks to me, it's an absolute stunner.

Thank you all, and happy Thursday!!!

This is a Maxi Kelly (size 42 is correct), but I’m not totally sure on the colour. More pictures may be helpful, as it’s my first time seeing one in this shade. Very chic! :flowers:

Side note: I think you’re confusing the Kelly Relax (long handle, large body) with the Kelly Voyage (regular handle, large body). They are both older styles and both in size 50cm, so a bit larger than this one.

It's a beautiful piece that I would rather get over the herbag cabine or even the HAC (which I absolutely adore) due to the thicker strap. I have attached another one of her posts. In the beginning, I thought it was Blue Frida, but it doesn't look like it.

Since the leather is Togo, I doubt the bag is Bleu Frida— I don’t recall Bleu Frida coming in Togo. My best guess would be that this is Bleu du Nord Togo since that combination was available for some other Togo items in the Men’s collection recently.

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is the correct thread (please let me know!!) but I’m looking for help in identifying the stamp on my Evelyne. The stamp is “FP M(in a square)” I know the square M means the bag was made in 2009 but what does the FP mean? I can’t find the info on google. Thank you!!
