Hello Hermes experts, can you please help me verify the color of my SO B30 from 2018. I placed the order in 2017, don’t remember exactly when but I do believe it was some time in the spring. I was new to Hermes at that point so not very aware that some colors do not come in certain leathers. This is what I ordered: B30 in Chèvre Mysore, Etain / Raisin interior, tonal stitching. I assume at some point during the order process my SA or SM changed the exterior color on the order form as Etain did not come in chèvre in 2017 or 2018 (based on the SO color charts I have seen).

When I received it and opened it at the store I saw that this was not Etain but still loved the color and took it home. So I’ve always assumed it is Etoupe but please let me know if you agree that it is indeed Etoupe.IMG_1419.jpeg

Etoupe would have white stitching. Monitors and cameras can slightly alter colors, possibly taupe?

Looking back at the color lists, Etoupe is the only beige color in chèvre that was available during those times so it’s got to be that. Interesting that it wasn’t made with the typical white stitching but that makes it pretty unique.

That definitely looks like Etoupe in chèvre which would be consistent with the time you placed your order; lucky you, a unique bag because your tonal stitch selection means it does not have the standard naturel stitching. I have seen this in Etoupe SOs before but never in chèvre

Thank you for the quick opinions, did not realize that I had ended up with a pretty unique bag!
