Looks like Chocolat to me, which would be consistent with that year.
Based on my records, Swift was not offered in Chocolat in 2007. Chocolat came in Box Calf, Togo, and Clemence for bags. While the bag pictured is not a great example of the colour, it should be Havanne.

Editing to mention that this bag also has brown resin, and most Chocolat bags at that time would have had black resin.

You are the expert! My stepmom has a Chocolat Swift B25 from 2007, though. She keeps all her receipts (for decades LOL) so I will ask her to pull it up. Hers is PHW.
ETA: that was fast! Hers is indeed Chocolat Swift and was purchased in 2007 in Paris. Probably an anomaly, which happens sometimes. I let her know it is rare.

Thank you both! @QuelleFromage any chance of a photo of your stepmother’s Chocolat Swift B? :flowers:

I have Chocolate Swift 2008, but the B above could be Gulliver (same difference IMO)

Wow, definitely an anomaly! I appreciate your doing that extra research. My 2007 list came directly from NYC store, so I’m guessing Paris had different stock that year. Also, I wonder if your stepmother’s bag might be dated for an earlier year despite being purchased in 2007. Anyway, thank you again! :flowers:

To be clear, I’m not negating the existence of Chocolat Swift altogether, just stating that the NYC store record shows no Chocolat Swift for 2007. Nonetheless, it seems QF’s stepmother encountered a very rare case in which it was offered at her boutique.

I think I recall seeing your Chocolat Bolide in an older thread. Very pretty!

It was definitely a new leather around then, because I remember my NBS SA helped me understand it. Either late 2008 (or 09) my Sloane St SA (head of dept) called me, I was offered Noir, RH or Choc, all were available from Paris but I had to choose.

NY, I have no idea.

I’m curious (and hesitant to join this confab of experts  ) - how likely is it that a particular bag could have been made using a color of resin different from what would be typical for the color of leather used? In this case there seems to be a possibility that chocolate Swift might have been made with brown rather than black resin?
