Thank you Bababebi. Indeed the seller stated it was made in 2018. May I ask what indicator indicates that it was made in 2017 or after (for education purpose if you're fine with sharing)? Thank you so much!

Because of the last photo you shared
If you try find some pre-2017 bags and look at that same part you should be able to see why :)

I recently bought this second hand, which I hate to do, but I haven't been in the store as much as past years - I think it's bleu hydra but would love a second opinion. It's a 2012.

Hello!

So I have a few B40's and decided that I wanted to try a B35. I am a guy and I don't like small bags. Went to a resale shop just to try on for sizing. That's where I noticed something. I went home and took a deep dive into this. The handles look different and are not consistent. I have posted some pics of my research and can you tell me why some handles are longer and more oval-shaped and some handles are more rounded. As a constant, I did the same size B35 and togo leather in all bags. Years didn't matter, 2006-2022 are all over the place. I looked at B25's and B30's too and the same thing. Can anyone tell me what the deal is? The pics that I borrowed were from Christie's Auction House and not an online reseller. Please help, I prefer the more elongated handles rather than the rounded ones, my B40s are like that.

Handle shape depends on several factors— leather type, amount of wear/use, the way in which the bag is stored, etc. If it really bothers you, maybe you could use an elastic or some strips of fabric or leather to reshape the handles; that is the method they use in the ateliers.;)

Thank you, it didn't bother me, I didn't know why some were rounded. And even 2022/23 bags appeared to be like that. My handles are still fine and make a lot of sense in regard to treatment and use. Thank you again!
