I know this gorgeous Kelly 28 is blue jean and canvas 28 but was wondering if anyone knows the years it was in production? Does it look like brushed gold hardware or just slightly tarnished/scratched gold (it could be the filter or photo editing though).

I would likely date this bag to the early aughts. It would be hard to determine an exact date without additional pictures. The hardware looks like tarnished, classic gold plated brass.

Hi all, any idea where I would find a date stamp on what I think is a President bag ( thanks GF saw your pic on another thread ) the bag I think is from the late 80s early 90s but can’t find a stamp anywhere. Many thanks for any info anyone has

You're correct with the late-'80s/early-'90s date as ball park, try top of the interior sides

Granted, some of these older bags are missing date stamps, but if there is one, it should be on the interior of the left gusset (when looking at the bag). The letter will be in a circle.

Thanks so much, just found the circle however the interior letter is very faint/illegible. At least I know where it is now thanks for your help. La - this is my first “ugly” H bag but I really like it

Thanks r luvs, I saw it on Vestiaire and it was a steal, so it fell into my basket… , I thought I’d probably wear it with a plain white shirt or t shirt and black trousers or skirt - I’m not planning to go full on 1980s retro and relive my mis-spent youth tho

I think the bluish tones are a result of the white balance in the picture, but this does look like Gris Perle to me.

I thought the same. The picture is from someone’s Instagram page so they probably used filters and adjusted the color so it looks confusing.
