While on the hunt for a Kooba or similar, I've decided to at least purchase a Marc Jacobs in the meanwhile. But, I'll still continue my Kooba-ish bag search.If I find any other brand similar to a Kooba, I'll def let you know.

Wow! I love your collection I too am a newcomer/latecomer to Kooba. I sure wish I had known about Kooba back when they used to make the most amazing bags with that thick luscious leather everyone talks about (e.g. Ada, Sienna, Ginger, etc). I'm eagerly awaiting a pre-loved Paige (circa 2006?) to arrive in the mail this week. It will be my 1st Kooba!

The handes are functional easy to get into the bag. Zipper made of brass very good.

I agree Koobas are Sooooo functional. All of mine are favorites. I tried a woven Italian bag for a few months because I thought I needed something different and it turns out I'm running back to my old Koobas for their functionality. I love Lucy, Marcelle, Ada and Renee in particular. The side pockets are fab for stashing keys, and the inside cell phone pockets are hard to live without for cell phone, passport, etc. The zipper one is great for things like valuables or to hide something and I love the one big compartment. I'm no good at trying to organize myself with multiple compartments.

Bought two Koobas from a lovely tPF-er via Bag Bonanza. Totally pleased! The color of the Halle is more accurate in the darker brick red. The Logan is tough to capture. It's a teal blue green, not quite blue, not quite green, totally gorgeous with everything I've paired it with so far, from jeans to dressy black. It's a BIG bag and I love the size and shape.

Ooooh! Love the chain on the red one!

Oooooh! That's a yummmy one! Reminds me of a Bbag. Which I usually don't love as much as Kooba but in this case it's a yummy look!
