I pulled a Shelby. This bag had a large water spot and was one step away from the garbage. Repair places wanted close to $300. Threw it into the washer and it came out pretty good. Can barely see the spot and we are good to go!

A couple of patent leather Nikki’s

First one is black. Second one is purple (Thanks, Skittles!). Much prettier in the sun, but I’m sure the neighbors will call the authorities if I’m out in the huge snowdrifts taking pictures of a bag!

Probably not noticeable to anyone else, esp when slouching

I would try it if I didn’t mind the loss of the bag. I don’t think it will come out but could come out less noticeable. Even if you just leave it alone I think it would be fine too.

I've also put an RM bag in the wash and dryer (cold water and low heat). I didn't have any water stains, but the interior was dirty. I didn't notice a difference. The leather was thick and very sturdy.

You girls are brave-I don't know if I could do that!! Maybe I'd try to wash in the sink first with woolite?

have you considered experimenting with dyeing the bag? Looks like a standard gray. Shelby can probably provide the name and color of the dye to use.
