Pics Of The Hunt For Beckingham Palace

After a full weekend of house hunting in the uber wealthy Bel Air neighbourhood, Victoria Beckham simply couldn't fight her natural urges today, forcing the former Spice Girl to hit up The Grove (a.k.a. the paparazzi pit stop) for some retail therapy.

Victoria has 35 houses to inspect this week and LA's newest resident is on a mission to find the perfect abode. Reports out there have Posh passing up Madonna's old house, Lionel Richie's 6-bedroom estate (it was "too small") and uber hunk Chris Evans' suped up bachelor pad.

Mrs. Beckham is looking at homes in the $12-15 million range.

I just came across this article.

Becks will fail in the US

Thursday, 11th January 2007, 07:31

David Beckham should forget trying to break America if he wants to stay a superstar, according to PR guru Max Clifford.
Former England captain Becks may not have his contract renewed with Real Madrid and is thought to be considering a move to the States in the summer.
But the PR man said he would be better off in Japan - or making football history by becoming the Premiership's first ever player-director.

Mr Clifford said: "David Beckham is at a crossroads. The next step for him is a crucial one.

"There are two sides to him, the commercial David Beckham, which is still as strong and popular as ever, and the footballing David Beckham who has had a dreadful year.

"A year ago he was England captain, the golden boy of British football and star player of Real Madrid. Now he has been dropped from the squad and rarely makes the first team for his club.
"In commercial terms, he is still the number one attraction for sponsorship and advertising because of his looks and all the rest of it. But in football terms he has definitely fallen off his perch.
"What he does next will have a huge impact on his career."
Mr Clifford said signing for any club other than the Premiership's Big Four - Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea - would be a big step down but so far only smaller clubs have shown interest at home, although there have been rumours of a possible move to Italian giants Inter Milan.

He added: "In my view, there is only one thing he can do and that is to become a Director of the club he joins. There has never been a footballer in the Premier League who has been a Director of the club he is playing for. If he does that he is creating footballing history.
"Other than that you just have to accept the fact your time at the very top of the football tree is gone."

Mr Clifford poured cold water on the Beckhams' dreams of making it big in America.

He said: "It is going to be very difficult for him because football is not a major attraction there. Unless David Beckham is going to become a judge on American Idol, he is not going to be a superstar.
"He will be just one fish in a huge sea. Posh has always wanted to be a star in America, but everything she has tried, appearing on TV and singing has not worked. The only reason she is famous is as Mrs David Beckham, and that does not mean much in America.
"Besides a transfer to England, David's best move would probably be to the Far East. He could make huge money over there and would still be a superstar."

Real Madrid have offered Beckham a slightly improved contract, but the club are putting the midfielder under increasing pressure to make up his mind over his future

$12-15 million price range and she had 35 homes to view!!! I'm surprised there would be that many in such a high price range. Of course LA is far,far different than NC!:wtf:

I've always really like the Beckhams, but the reason they are moving to LA is the MONEY!!!!

It has nothing to do with Brooklyn's education (they could afford to send him to the best school anywhere in the world!) and it has nothing to do with Romeo's epilepsy! Thousands of people cope with epilepsy and live normal lives, they dont have to move to LA for additional medical care!

I dont blame David for accepting the move, he's nearing the end of his career and he was offered all this money, he wouldve been stupid to turn it down!

Us soccer fans in the UK are more upset that he didnt come back to the UK and try and regain his place in the England team. He's got no chance of getting back in playing in the States.

It's quite funny how Posh and Becks are suddenly all over the US press, they've been super famous here in the UK for 10 years, its weird to us that you dont know much about them when their every move has been documented in our press for so long!

Victoria Beckham is a woman on a mission while in LA, visiting two prestigious schools - Curtis School and Berkeley Hall School in preparation for her move to LA with her 3 sons and husband, soccer ace David Beckham.
Victoria was reportedly recommended these elite schools by her Bev Hills BFFs Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. A source tells the Mirror: "Victoria's been asking Tom for advice on schools as his kids Conor and Isabella go to school there. She knows it's a big move for the boys so she's going to see half a dozen to find one they'll fit into."

Posh and her convoy later stopped by the private Beaumont Estate to look at houses
