Kristen- yes, i wear the GST over the shoulder. It fits over my shoulders AND my winter wool jacket very well (i live in NYC, so we have cold winters.)

Whisterchic- the GST has 3 compartments. the middle compartment has a zipper so it can be closed fully (zipped up.) the two other compartments (on both sides of the middle one) are OPEN, so beware of falling contents..lol...

the GST also has a small zipped up side compartment for ur phone, wallet, etc..overall, the GST is a very versatile and ROOMY bag!
