They don't look 'marks' really, and they will nicely blend-in anyway! Just "character building" you see... :wlae:

Pheebs, it is beautiful. I was worried about marks which is why I steered clear of antiqued leather for a long time but now I've realised it's great to have a bag you don't have to baby. My aqua one has really got a great look now, marks & all.

Thanks all, she is particularly smooshy and fab! The marks are inevitable with antiqued leather and I'm getting more and more smitten. Yep she's from Shepton and is the most expensive bag in my little family, I intend to make her a bargain through the £ per wear equation :tup:

The silver hardware is absolutely gorgeous, so shiny and chunky I wish they did more bags with it.

That colour is just delicious. I think the intentional scuff marks would merge in better if you moisturized the bag a bit. However, that might reduce the sheen. I would keep the bag like it is for now and then polish it up a bit later on.
