My white gold Cartier has diamonds so it's plated and I have no other so I have no point of reference, BUT! I wanted to just say I have read of others loving the patina of the non plated white gold. Seems to be a personal preference.

Very true! Others do like that warm tone of non-rhodium plated white gold and it looks fine on them but I don't think it looks good on my complexion personally. The rhodium plating on my WG wedding set wore off due to the ring friction against each other and it drove me crazy to see the original WG color that I had to reset everything to platinum since I didn't want to bother with replating ever again. OP if you're able to try both pieces side by side see if you prefer one over another on your skintone. Just know that the non-rhodium plated one will turn even more warm grey over time.

I don't mind it turning grey but I was wondering it still glisten in the sunlight like the yellow gold bracelets do? It won't just look flat and dull will it ? ( non plated version)

I'm so undecided. I didn't want any with diamonds as i was going for the kylie jenner 5 stack she had but now im wondering if i should go for diamonds .
It's so difficult to decide

Once gold is worn and scratched up I find it less shiny, no matter the gold color.

My love bracelet is 10 years old this year and never had a clean but it still has a glisten in the sun ( not like my newer cuff but its still there ) i was wondering if the white gold would be the same
Im not sure if im describing it right
Its just something i love about my gold bracelet in the sun light . I might just be a bit sad

I think yellow or rose gold would look better in sunlight for that glisten look you’re talking about. The way my old WG wore it looks more like warm stainless steel with all the fine scratches instead of shiny white gold look if that makes sense. For that reason I think you would probably like it better if it’s rhodium plated. It is possible to get the non-diamond WG rhodium plated but you have to ask for it and possibly insist if they say it can’t be done.

I hope this might be helpful. I just purchased a new white gold Love bracelet yesterday and took some photos of it next to my other Love that I have been wearing for almost 3 years constantly. This shows the side by side.

For transparency both are preloved as I prefer the old screw design and I wanted the 6 diamonds which is no longer available from Cartier. Both bracelets were polished and replated by Cartier. The 10 diamonds one is quite polished and a bit slimmer because of it, something I wasn’t really aware of as a thing at the time I purchased but it’s still a beautiful bracelet in its own right. Anyway thought this might help show a 3 year difference.

I have the same white gold love bracelet. Have the sides of yours turned yellowish? Because mine has. I’m guessing it’s because I wear it stacked and the rhodium plating rubbed off??
Hi!
No, mine hasn't turned yellow anywhere. How old is yours? Does it have diamonds?

Here are mine. They are still very new so not as helpful in terms of showing you wear to plating, but I also worried about plating wearing off. The more I thought about it, the less it seemed to matter. I wear white metals pretty much exclusively, and I figure I will deal with the plating issue if and when it comes up, and if it bothers me when it does. I tried on an unplated Ecrou (second photo below) and actually quite liked it, so it may not be a huge issue.

This is my Ecrou (rhodium plated) with my JUC (also rhodium plated as it has diamonds).

If it is helpful to you, this is the Ecrou that I tried in store. It is not rhodium plated. There is definitely a color difference. I don’t dislike it at all (I actually kind of like it and seriously thought about getting it), but decided to order a plated one so I would start with all my pieces matching and they could wear evenly.
HI! Love your stack! Does the plated one have a special stamp?
