The white gold diamond juc is stunning. I tried that piece on in store and fell in love immediately its so sparkly and just perfect in every way. Its a really stunning piece in white gold imo

Here are mine. They are still very new so not as helpful in terms of showing you wear to plating, but I also worried about plating wearing off. The more I thought about it, the less it seemed to matter. I wear white metals pretty much exclusively, and I figure I will deal with the plating issue if and when it comes up, and if it bothers me when it does. I tried on an unplated Ecrou (second photo below) and actually quite liked it, so it may not be a huge issue.

This is my Ecrou (rhodium plated) with my JUC (also rhodium plated as it has diamonds).

If it is helpful to you, this is the Ecrou that I tried in store. It is not rhodium plated. There is definitely a color difference. I don’t dislike it at all (I actually kind of like it and seriously thought about getting it), but decided to order a plated one so I would start with all my pieces matching and they could wear evenly.

Thank you! I love love love mine. There is no Cartier boutique in my state, and I finally got to one recently. The WG diamond JUC was the one piece I knew for sure was coming home with me. It is truly stunning. (Incidentally, it looks great with Ecrou.)

I am looking at purchasing a white gold plain love bracelet and was wondering whether it will stay white gold forever ?
I'm just worried it will turn yellow like some white gold does.
Does anyone have any white gold Cartier pieces they can share photos of ?
Curious what you decided. I am also looking ahead to next year and wondering if I should add a WG Love Cuff with one diamond, but not sure about the wear and tear. I’m okay with YG as scratches can be buffed out, but not sure about WG or if I should stick to YG.

I don't have white gold Cartier but my white gold jewelry doesn't change color.
White rhodium plating will wear off on Cartier white gold. Just polishing it will make it worse, you will need to send the piece to Cartier for both polishing and rhodium re-dipping, which costs $$. Maintenance of white gold pieces is more headache than yellow. You can wear it super carefully though:)

I am still undecided due to sizing. My arms are currently chubby and I need to lose weight . I'm still stuck on whether to get a size thats slightly bigger than my yg loves or smaller . Both would fit now but if i lose a couple of stone or more i don't.know how much my wrist will change .

Oh wow thank you so much fot sharinf the colour comparison... i actually love both !!! But it makes the decision hardet as i don't know whether to go for plain or diamond w/ rhodium plating

I don't have any good close up photos but I would recommend you to get any Cartier WG piece in diamonds to get the rhodium plating. Their regular WG does not age well since it is not rhodium plated, and turns to a dull warm grey after several years of wear which I did not like personally. It's not a nice patina like how platinum wears over time. However you can get them rhodium plated if you are able to insist with the store manager or perhaps with Cartier hotline. I'm tagging @avcbob because he had success in requesting his second or third WG plain bracelet to be rhodium plated upon purchasing which is great.

I ended up having mine rhodium plated last year but it requires your bracelet to be polished first if it's been worn already. Every time the bracelet gets polished the edges become a bit more rounded off rather than that crisp edge it normally comes with. Initially I had a lot of resistance from my local boutique with the SA insisting my WG bracelet could not be plated since it doesn't have diamonds and it's something they reserve only for their diamond pieces. I then called Cartier hotline to complain about how awful my WG bracelet was aging and they authorized it with my local boutique to get polished & plated in the end for about $200 USD.

If you're positive in going for the plain WG I would make an effort to request the rhodium plating upon purchase. It might take a couple more weeks to receive it but it'll be worth it in the long run wear & tear.
