My PJ arrived yesterday and it is just as fantastic as I hoped it would be! I have been leaning towards smaller bags recently so thought this would be a good size. (The organizer I typically use with my smaller out-and-about weekend bags fits nicely.)

I think I went back and forth on the choices on this one more than on my Dream bag, LOL. I was going to do a bright color but then decided I wanted Novonappa. It’s going to be a year-round workhorse travel/“default” grab-and-go bag so I chose black and a bright color inside. I was leaning towards Peter’s orange chevre (a nod to my recently departed RJ Bolide) but it looked a bit Halloween. So Byzantine purple was the winner.

I ordered it with the separate bottom like Peter does with the exotics and a full rear slip pocket. He recommended sizing the whole thing up just a bit so that the phone would not fit too snugly and the overall proportions would remain the same.

After one afternoon of use I can say it's perfect! The leather feels so nice in the hand, the clasp is nicely balanced and super easy to work, and my phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max with Apple clear case) fits perfectly. This bag will definitely be great for travel and transit with the option to buckle the bottom straps. The workmanship is of course outstanding (because, Peter!) and it just feels "right" IYKWIM.

(He sent it with this lovely box that he made because his new packaging has not yet arrived. And while I was patiently waiting for my PJ to arrive, I found this nice Japanese tote to bring along when I need extras.)
