SimplySplendid, it sounds like you aren't really in love with the strand you received. Since you still want the strand you didn't receive, you will end up paying more than you would have paid if you had just received the correct strand of pearls in the first place. I realize that you are out of the country and returning the wrong strand will be costly, but the company should be the one paying for the return, not you!
Yes, I wouldn't settle if you're not in love with the pearls.
