OMG those look amazing on you! What a steal! Congrats Callire, they are gorgeous. May I ask what size they are in mm?

I think they are Mother of Pearl. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that is the right. They are really pretty though.
Here's a craptacular set under normal florescent lights, the last one is with flash.

I am a jewelry FREAK from looooong ago (many many many decades)and my pearls and diamonds come exclusively from Japster. (www.futurefashionista.com)
She creates brilliant concepts and executes them flawlessly at bench in her studio....she is a pearl/jewel artisan, truly one of a kind, and I am amazed and so happy that I know her and can count her as my top expert pearl/jewel artisan.
It's such a relief when looking to invest $$$ in pearls/jewels to meet someone who so absolutely knows their medium and their creative/production process and can advise you on your special pieces, and then price extremely fairly.
She's Quality - Brilliance - Integrity - Innovation - all in one package. Honestly, I think Elana is in a class by herself, right there at the top.
Here's one of my favorites from Elana - my diamond drop pearls. They are 1.7 ct (vs1-2 d-f) diamond encrusted 13 mm south sea pearls.

I love pearls...all kinds of pearls from high end to the cheapy brightly colored kinds. They fascinate me and I own way too many unfinished strands.
I hope that folks will consider supporting indie artists who work in top quality pearls and gems. I've made two or three necklaces for ladies here and they seem all pleased. Not everyone is out to scam or cheat. I actually created a necklace last year with Akoyas that were STUNNING to work with. Their texture and luster was so obviously better than any I'd ever seen before. It was a pleasure. And now I want to make myself one.![]()
