Geldof was born in London in 1989, the second daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates. She is the granddaughter of Hughie Green. Her sisters are Fifi Trixibelle Geldof (born 1983) and Pixie Geldof (born 1990). She also has a younger half-sister, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof (born 1996). [PG's note - this is her mother's child with the (also late) Michael Hutchence].

She grew up in Chelsea, London and Faversham, Kent, and was educated at Queen's College, London. After moving out of her father's house at eighteen, Peaches rented a flat in Islington, North London, but gave up her lease to move to New York with then-husband, Max Drummey. She now splits her time between Los Angeles and Hackney [3].

And a little more about Paula Yates (who died of a heroin overdose in 2000, age 40):

Yates met Geldof in the early days of the Boomtown Rats. They became a couple in 1976 when she flew to Paris to surprise him while the band was playing there. Their first daughter, Fifi Trixibelle, was born on 31 March 1983.[3] After 10 years together, they married on 31 August 1986 in Las Vegas, with Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran acting as Geldof's best man. The couple then had two more daughters, Peaches Geldof [4] on 13 March 1989, and Little Pixie Geldof on 17 September 1990. Pixie is said to be named after a celebrity daughter character from the cartoon Celeb in the satirical magazine Private Eye, itself a lampoon of the unusual names the Geldofs gave to their first children.[citation needed]
Many people still erroneously think that Yates and the INXS singer Michael Hutchence first met during the infamous interview on the Big Breakfast bed in October 1994, but Yates had interviewed him as early as 1985 on Channel 4's The Tube rock magazine programme. During this appearance on "The Tube", Paula was asked to leave Michael alone by the Road Manager of INXS when Paula walked up to him and said, "I'm going to have that boy." "Paula was unmoved and began to show up at INXS gigs everywhere for the next few years...she even brought her daughter, (Fifi Geldof)." [5] Yates doggedly maintained an irregular contact during the interceding nine years and their affair had been underway long before the Big Breakfast interview. [6] In 1995, Yates left Geldof.
Geldof and Yates divorced in May 1996. Two months later Yates's daughter with Hutchence, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence (known as Tiger) was born on 22 July 1996.[7]
On 22 November 1997, Hutchence was found dead in a hotel room in Sydney. Paula Yates wrote in her police statement that Michael Hutchence was "frightened and couldn't stand a minute more without his baby" during their phone conversations that morning of his suicide; he had said, "I don't know how I'll live without Tiger". Yates also wrote that Bob Geldof had threatened them repeatedly with, "Don't forget, I am above the law." [8] Yates became distraught, refusing to accept the coroner's verdict of suicide. [9] She eventually sought psychiatric treatment. In June 1998, Bob Geldof won full custody of the couple's three daughters and Yates attempted suicide[10]. Michael Hutchence's father,Kell Hutchence "launched proceedings in Australia seeking sole custody of [Tiger Lily] after concerns over a new relationship Miss Yates began while being treated at a clinic for a nervous breakdown earlier this year. She met Kingsley O'Keke, 26, [an ex-con, heroin dealer], during her stay but the pair broke up after a six-week romance. O'Keke later sold his story to a tabloid newspaper."[11]
Yates's dispute with the Hutchence family over Michael's estate saw her struggling to bring up her daughter.[12] While battling grief and problems with addiction, she was also in an extremely difficult financial situation. Yates resorted to selling her jewellery in order to pay bills, including the three amethyst rings Geldof gave her after the birth of each of their daughters.[citation needed] She downsized to living in a small mews house in the years prior to her death, but also purchased a second home in Hastings.[citation needed]
While fighting for custody of Tiger, it was reported in the media that Jess Yates had not been Yates's natural father. A paternity test proved that the quiz show host Hughie Green, who died six months before Hutchence, had in fact been her natural father.[13]

Her latest avatar on Twitter (@peaches_g).

She's just so breath-takingly pretty. If had to look like anyone, it'd be her, particularly in this photo.

^ I mean, just look at this. The way the sequined tunic glitters like a night sky... her hair, her skin is freakin' BLUSH coloured. Her cute tattoos, she's got fabulous slutty clevage (and I mean that in the best possible way, and obviously you can't see it here, but there's another pic). AND her birthdate includes all of my favorite numbers for a birthdate. AND she's dating a director (one I hate-like, but he's friends with directors I love).

Curse you, and your magical life, Geldof!!!!

Waif-like Peaches Geldof displays full extent of weight loss as she shares pictures on Twitter

She stunned fans earlier this month when she stepped out looking slimmer than ever in a tight red dress.
But now Peaches Geldof has displayed the full extent of her weight loss by posting a picture of herself on Twitter looking tiny in a baggy gold Vivienne Westwood dress.
The 22-year-old shared the picture along with shots of all her new purchases after a Vivienne Westwood shopping spree.

The starlet, the daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, splashed out on four dresses by the British designer, before tweeting shots of each of them and asking for fans' opinions.
However, it was the shot of her in a gold Westwood number which showed her incredible weight loss.

Peaches is estimated to have lost around one-and-a-half stone since March, slimming from 10 stone to eight-and-a-half stone.
But after reports that she was looking too thin, Peaches was quick to slate any criticism.
She claimed that she had also embarked on a healthy diet and keep-fit regime after meeting her boyfriend, musician Thomas Cohen.
She tweeted earlier this week: 'To those telling me I look skinny and to eat something, I can assure you I've just cut out eating crap.
'I still eat like a horse, guys!'

She then added: ‘All these "Peaches Geldof: so skinny", "Peaches Geldof’s drastic weight loss" articles are becoming boring.
'I eat more healthily now. That’s it.
‘Obviously I’m going to look thinner if I don’t sit around eating pizza and chips. It’s just how the body works. You are a product of what you eat.’
When a fan asked her for tips, Peaches replied: ‘Healthy diet, lots of fresh fruit and veg and no bread/ wheat.’

After scrolling through I was about to say that I loved that avatar picture... but she looks like a bit of a mess again in the more recent pictures. Clearly she's very pretty, but she seems like something is just "off".

Are there any street photos of her dressed casually?
